World Environment Day

World Environment Day has been part of our calendars since 1974, but 5th June 2021 will be particularly special. Celebrated by millions of people across the world, with more than 150 countries taking part, this year will see the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration which is designed to prevent, halt, and reverse the loss and degradation of ecosystems worldwide.

Of course, national governments will be embarking on major projects across the globe to revive hundreds of millions of hectares through to 2030, and we are sure that some of these will receive much welcome publicity on TV, radio and in magazines. Equally as important, though, the theme is designed to inspire every one of us to play our part in helping nature to recover worldwide, and we felt that the words in our header summed this aim up extremely well.

We are delighted to be involved in our own small way in helping project managers to protect and restore habitats affected by their development work and so in turn to improve the living conditions for huge numbers of creatures whose existence would otherwise be threatened. If you need ecological support with your development project, then please contact us.
