Advice and Consultancy

signpost, help, support, advice on ecological surveys, mitigations and biodiversity improvement

At JP Ecological Services, we are passionate about protecting and preserving British wildlife, particularly in and around the human world. As such, we specialise in a range of ecological surveys and reports to ensure that human activities such as building, redevelopment, change of land use etc. have a minimal impact on protected species and habitats, and we offer advice on mitigation actions to minimise the long-term impact, alongside progressing your project.

We not only look at surveys linked to, or required for, planning permission or retrospective planning permission, but can help with biodiversity improvement, rewilding, tree-planting or habitat creation/management projects for businesses, clubs, schools and colleges or individuals.

We have a range of both desk-based and on-site surveys that are written up into clear and succinct reports, in plain English, and give you a clear roadmap of what is required to progress your project. We also understand that, sometimes, just a little advice on what might be required or what to do next is all that is required, so we offer a telephone appointment service for this type of call where the first half hour discussion is free.

If you would like to book a free half hour appointment to discuss your project, please complete the form below. Alternatively, check out our free ecological and wildlife calendars and our guide to habitats below to get a better idea of timelines and what your project might involve.
